Red Hood the Lost Days shows how after Jason Todd was revived he was discovered and brought in by Talia Al Gaul. What we get is a more in-depth telling of Jason’s lost years and a comic that should appeal to fans of the original comic arc and the Red Hood character, but likely won’t sway anyway who was not a fan of either. With Batman Annual #25 Judd Winick gave readers the backstory of Jason Todd and how he spent his missing years, but obviously, he thought he could expand on that with a six issue mini-series. Despite my misgivings about the decision I did overall enjoy Batman: Under the Red Hood and thought the animated adaption of the story was even better.
